     Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 at Eureka, KS at the Koup Family Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. for James Drummond.  James, who was found dead at his home on Sunday morning, was a 1987 West Elk High School graduate.

James Lester Drummond of Severy, Kansas died on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at his home near Severy at the age of 41.  He was born on July 9, 1969 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Jack Wilbur and LaVerna (Hastings) Drummond.

James was raised in Severy and attended local schools.  He left Severy for a short time while attending college, but returned to ranch at the J & L Ranch.

He is survived by one sister, Jackie Connett of Wichita, Kansas and one niece, Wei Wei Connett of Wichita, Kansas.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Koup Family Funeral Home in Eureka, Kansas.  Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.  Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, Kansas 67045, which is in charge of service arrangements.
