Elinda Margaret Timmons, 19, of Levelland, Texas, died Thursday, October 21, 2010 in Levelland.  She was born May 17, 1991.

Elinda graduated from Levelland High School with honors in 2009 and was attending South Plains College.  She was a member of National Honor Society.  Elinda suffered from Cystic Fibrosis from birth.  She underwent a liver transplant at 12 years of age and a double lung transplant when she was 17 years old.

She is survived by her mother, Christina Rodgers; her brother, Christopher Rodgers; her grandparents, Joe and Carmel Timmons; her uncles, John Timmons and his wife, Mandy, and Joe Timmons and his wife, Carrie, all of Levelland, Texas;  her great-grandparents, Richard and Wilma Timmons of Wolfforth, Texas and Bill and Wanda Sherrod of Moline, Kansas; her great-great-grandfather, Lloyd Beasley of Sedan, Kansas; her cousins, Andrew, Daniel, and Zane; and aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her great-great-grandmother, Unice Beasley of Sedan, Kansas; her grandparents, Juan and Juana Zuniga; and her uncle, Christopher Lloyd Timmons.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 25, 2010 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Levelland, Texas.  Burial was in the City of Levelland Cemetery under the direction of George Price Funeral Home.
