According to the 2011 Old Farmer's Almanac:

The average American spends

5 hours watching television
2 hours, 2 minutes listening to radio
2 hours on a computer
1 hour of video games
36 minutes reading
40 minutes on the telephone
30 minutes listening to radio


More bakeries are putting fresh-baked pies in their customer's own pans so that they can pass them off as homemade.

A smidgen is exactly one half a pinch, or  one thirty second of a teaspoon.

A snath is the curved or straight long wooden handle that carries the blade of a scythe. The snath has nibs attached for hand holds. The beard is the nearest part of the blade to the snath. The tang is the projection from the beard that attaches to the snath. And, the heel, neck, and nob are parts of the tang.
