Diane, I think you are right.

We are still getting rain here and it has no place to go.  My phone hasn't worked in a week and will have the phone company here Monday.  I think there are bare wires down by the box and when the gets this wet it doesn't work.  Haven't lost my DSL yet, would have had the phone company here last Monday.  Here it comes again, at least there isn't any thunder and lightning.

Well, I really did for a short while; but we live on a slight slope and it's mostly gone now. It'd be kind of like one of those slip & slides running downhill on the wet grass in soggy ground. Just lots of rain in a short period of time.

Debbie, I do believe that beautiful ball was in our yard for a while too... we left it hoping that the owners would see it and lay claim... plus I didn't want to put on my mud boots to walk out and get it.

I put it up on the porch, but the wind, the cat and the wheelchair ramp all conspired to put it back in the yard.
