Daniel and Nancy Gault

A lady is researching Daniel  Gault and his wife Nancy, primarily looking for his death date and burial location.  Our good friend LarryJ has found that Daniel died Feb. 14, 1903 and is buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Paw Paw township.  Would anyone care to check the microfilm at the library to see if there is an obit for him?  Nancy's whereabouts after 1900 is unknown, so any leads regarding her or any of their children would be helpful as well.  One of their sons, James William married Sarah A. (Lynam) Collins and lived there in the Howard area. Thanks to anyone who can help out on this.  Dan D.

Sarah Ann Lynam Collins was born April 19, 1855 in Bath County, Kentucky and died Oct. 31, 1936 in Howard. She's the daughter of Richard Lee Hezekiah Hunt & Mary Jane (Anderson) Lynam. Don't know she'd remarried.

There's also a Sarah Lynam (no middle initial) who was born Dec. 2, 1800 - daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth (Greene) Lynam.

And a Sarah Lynam, born about 1761, daughter of Andreas and Sarah (Hall) Lynam. Don't know if she married.

Know nothing about the Gault family.

Daniel Gault was born June 1818 in Knox County, Ohio and died in Greenwood County, Kansas on February 14, 1903.  

He married Nancy Crouch about 1840 who was born April 1817 in Sharon Township, Noble County, Ohio.  

*****Daniel and Nancy Gault had a daughter,  Polly Caroline Gault who was born November 8, 1847 in Knox County, Ohio and died February 12, 1922 in Turon, Reno County, Kansas.

**********Polly Caroline Gault married Joseph K. Jones who was born August 13, 1846 in Ross County, Ohio.  He died July 22, 1922 in Arlington, Reno County, Kansas.

***************Polly and Joseph had a son, Earl Duane Jones who was born September 12, 1877 in Maroc, Macon, Illinois and died April 4, 1941 in Bentonville, Benton County, Arkansas.

***************Polly and Joseph had a daughter, Nancy Mabel Jones who was born about 1870 in Illinois.

***************Polly and Joseph had a daughter, Leena O. Jones who was born January 1891 in Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas.

**********James William Gault married Sarah Ann "Sallie" Lynam on February 22, 1900 in Howard, Elk County, Kansas.  Sarah Ann Lynam was born April 19, 1856 in Bath County, Kentucky and died October 31, 1936 in Howard, Elk County, Kansas.  Sarah Ann Lynam was first married to Francis Thomas Collins on January 14, 1874 in Sherburne, Fleming County, Kentucky.  

Father of Daniel Gault is Adam Gault who was born either 1777 or 1780 and died August 8, 1846.  Mother of Daniel Gault is Margaret Stewart Gault, born 1783 in Ireland and died February 17, 1846.

Father of Nancy Crouch is Robert Crouch who was born May 1779 in Pennsylvania and died May 23, 1846 in Pike Township, Coshocton County, Ohio.  Mother of Nancy Crouch is Polly Mary Merritt Crouch who was born in 1785 and died May 19, 1859 in Coshocton County, Ohio.
