The real KKK was created after the WBTS and ceased to be in existence after 1877.  Much of KKK's membership consisted of Confederate veterans.  The KKK restored order in the South.  The original KKK stood for the Constitution.  The KKK was great organization and today it would be described as conservative.  Here's a book on-line entitled:  "Authenic History Ku Klux Klan 1865-1877" copyrighted in 1924 by Susan Lawrence Davis.  It's long read and very well worth the read.

The modern day KKK(s) is not connected nor does it have the same values as the original KKK that ended in 1877.  There's no way that I would describe the modern day KKK as conservative, so I believe that "liberal" will have to suffice for that group just as it does for the today's Democrats too.

Actually if you displayed a modicum of intelligence you would realize that it is not black or white, liberal or conservative.... that there  are various ideals that groups could fall under.

People know their people.  Obvisously, you're conncected to some other kind of group.

Red thinks that most of the republican party is liberal, so i wouldn't put much stock into him/her classifying people as liberal or conservative.

Funny...That's the first time that I've heard a terrorist organization referred to those terms...I've never considered the burning of the Christian cross in someone's front yard as a liberal's choice of communicating...But, whatever...

well if you define terrorism and klans by firey crosses, then you'll have to include the catholic church and methodist church in those groups as their symbols are of firey crosses.
Curb your politician.  We have leash laws you know.

Not one of those crosses was erected in someone's front yard, doused in kerosene (or whatever combustable element was available at that time) and then lit in an attempt to terrorize others.  If you want to argue religion then you're on the wrong thread.

By the way...Use spellcheck..."firey" is actually spelled FIERY.

And the kkk did not use crosses for that purpose.  And yes the churches used them too.  Constantine was the first.  any rate, you need to go look up the history before spouting what you don't know.
