We feel that it’s time for an update of this site. Hopefully it will be more user friendly, and one of the neat things about it is you can become a regular contributor on our news section.
I imagine that you have heard about blogs. This new layout will make it possible for you to have your own blog here on the Elk County Web Site, if you want to.
We will update you on the changes in the days and weeks to come. Some sections will be unavailable or under construction during this period.
This is all done in our very limited free time, so please be patient with us.

I wish more people will use the new machine at the library to post some old time history of Elk County and Howard.
I think after the first of the year I will download the WordPress and see if I can figure out how to make a site for my office. Who is your server?
