Reminiscent of the rigs worn in American Western films in the 1950s and 1960s, Galco’s 1880s™ is the rig for the single-action revolver shooter on the budget of the working cowboy. The 1880s holsters are available in both strongside and crossdraw carry, for large-frame single-action revolvers with barrels from 4 5/8” through 7 ½”.
Constructed of premium, full-grain natural tan steerhide, the 1880s holsters use a hammer thong retention strap. The high-riding designs fit belts up to 3” wide, including Galco’s matching 1880s Cartridge Belt.
Available for both .38/.357 and .44/.45 cartridges, the Premium Center Cut Steerhide of the 1880s belt is a much darker natural color, giving the assembled rig a handsome, two-tone appearance.
