My gear is loaded in the trailer as is Dr. Bob's.  Trap and Michele will arrive in about an hour and add theirs.  Griz will arrive at my house early tomorow morning.  We will hook up the trailer and pile into his van and be off for Hooten.  We should arrive before dark.

Look out Kentucky, the Kansas Vigilance Committe is on its way.

It should be an interesting trip, I've never been thrown out of Kentucky...yet.

I, myself, will be briefing Congress four times this coming week - and we've been told to standby for a another briefing next week.

I don't envy you Bill.   Joan and I are in Paducah.  We plan to leave here about Noon on Monday.  It is about 280 miles from here to Lexington and another 60 miles to McKee. So that's 340 miles or 6 hours.

Oh well we will either get a motel in Arlington or find the range and hope we can find our cabin.

The Countess is pleased to report that Grizzle Bear, Trap, Michele, Books O'Toole and Dr. Bob arrived at the shoot Sunday evening around 8:30 Kansas City time safe and sound.  Best wishes to everyone there for a royally good time!!!!

We are back now and had a great time.  Thanks to everyone who made it so.  Those of you for what ever reason couldn't make it to Hooten you really missed a great shoot.   I am already looking forward to it next year if it's there.
