Most Popular Class at Nationals

Now that we expanded our shooting classes by incorporating a new class, Originals, and subdividing the classes into mens and ladies, we have a few more choices on our entry. Guess which one so far is the most popular class, and let us know when you check in at the National Shoot. We will put a slip with your name and the class you think is the most popular in a box for a drawing. You should also mention your guess here, and we may have a surprise for you.

Can ya tell me the least popular class for the Nationals? I always seem to finish higher in those 1 or 2 person classes.

My guess would be the Originals. Since it is new and interesting.

I know a large portion of the original 2005 Originals group will be attending. Hope they decide to shoot Originals again.

If correct and even more signed up for the Originals Class, that means possibly a lot of document pre-review. Since there are only about twenty or so already approved in the Originals class from the 2005 Nationals.

Question back French Jack what is the present attendance #'s looking like at this time?

BRS-- looks like 50 and counting. YK-- you could always try that ever popular "Senior"--- not many of us really admit to that.

Can't give out any hints on which is more or less-- remember we have a drawing on this one.

We also had one entrant request to be squadded with someone that needs to be harassed-- want to guess on that one? Who made the offer, or who needs them?

Howdy French Jack,

I'll have to throw in with Irish Dave, WC followed by the Originals. And not just 'cause I have Irish on my Mon's side either. I suppose I should add Men's WC. Do we have an female Originals yet?? No reason not to!

I will bee shooting in the Originals class and available to pre-review documentation packages if needed. Started gathering and orgainzing already. Can't wait!!

Dr. Bob, you remember that when we went with men's and ladies' distinctions in the classes, we took out the separate Ladies Class. There is no reason why a lady cannot be an Original. All they need to do is apply, just like every one else.The class is not gender specific.

Since you are prepared to review documentation, I will sign you up to do so. We will have several others, so there should be no problem finding the requisite three reviewers.

I have to warn everyone, that your face will be really sore when the shoot and socializing is over. FROM GRINNING!

For the last two years at Ackley, the largest class has been Working Cowboy and number two was Smokeless Shootist. Even with the desertion of many of the WC class to the Originals class I predict that;

The Largest Class will be Working Cowboy.

Second will be Smokeless Shootist or Originals. (The other will be third)

I hate to disagree with all of you on this one but since I did not do to well in school and could not Identify any class that I liked, I am going to guess that the after school recess is the favorite class.

You know the one where the toys are put away and the "Jaw boning", drinky treats, and lies are passed about the camp fire

I am very sorry I will not be there to attend, but I would love to here the results and see pictures.

I am relying on you OCB for lots of celuloids or should I say "Tin types".
