I have recently joined both this site and NCOWS. I am registered to shoot the Nationals in Kentucky and have a question that I have not been able to find a definitive answer for. All my clothing, firearms and gear will meet NCOWS regulations but my shooting cart is my question. It is made from wood and looks like the Off-the-Wall carts advertised in the SASS limks. It has 12" solid rubber, wire spoked wheels. Is this cart acceptable? If not, please describe what is. Thanks for any and all responses. :)

Hey Royal...why don't we start up a NC NCOWS posse?  Stump and I would join.

Royal,
By all means bring it...you probably won't need it though. The range is set up in such a way that there is plenty of gun racks for each stage, and we've made new benches for the stages so there is also plenty of room to sit down and relax if you need to.

Cammie and Royal,

It only takes 3 members to start a posse.  Something for y'all to consider....

That cart sounds good to me pard! Mine isn't much different 'cept it's got plastic wheels....which I carefully painted with black furnace paint so they look like iron wheels with hard rubber tyres. 8) ;)

Oh yeah!  I forgot that Trinity was from around here.  I actually met him at a state match a couple of years ago and haven't seen him since.

I think I skeered him.  Either that or Tensleep did.  ;D

I;ve been tryin' to get him to sign up for the SASS NC Championship over Labor Day weekend.  I even threatened to sign him up as a SASS member myself and pick out an appropiate alias to suit him (since "Trinity" is already taken).

He says he would rather join NCOWS.

I kinda thought that matched pair of white mules that my friend had a Rock Creek Station this weekend was purtyer than any of the 200 or so hosses I seen this weekend.  That wagon they was pullin' could have used a chuckbox though. ;)

Del,
In your travels, if you come across a riding mule, about 15 hands or so, not too tall, let me know. Its not for me but one of our compadres' is looking for one...
