I was lookin' at who's on-line, I think I found someone fer the Lost and Found.  Since we've all lost our minds, he'll get busy if someone starts turnin' them in. ::)

Haw!!!  That's funny, Del;  he--, I went and changed my mind, and now I can't find it.  How am I s'posed to he'p folks find stuff, if I cain't find my own??

Oh well, since we is into this city building business, here, I was ponderin' startin' up a tonsorial parlor -

Trim (I ain't sayin' what I'll trim) ----------------------------- Two Bits
     Face Scrapin' ------------------------------------------------------- Two Bits
Trustin' me around you with anything sharp ------------- Yikes!!!   :o ;D

I 'spose I could just put a shelf in the back of the room where I could keep them misplaced minds and such, until somebody comes a'lookin'fer one, and we could see if we could make a match-up; I could put a list in the winder tellin' what's on the shelf for each day.  Sitting in the dark after hours, listenin' to the conversations in those minds, could get sort of interesting.  :o :o :o

:o  My late Father-in-law told a tale about a poor ol' cat that they caught when he was a kid, that had been lurkin' around their chicken pen, scarin' the hens.  He said they cobbed it and turpentined it, and let it go, and all they could see was a dust trail off into the woods; never did see that cat around the henhouse again.  He said it did take them a week to get healed up from all of the bites and scratches they had, and Ma used the turpentine on those.  He said that after they found out what the turpentine felt like on those cuts and such, he felt real sorry he'd had anything to do with the cat business.

Say!!  I just found a lady who is lookin' for some part time employment.  I figure that FortyRod might sometimes need a break to tend to some other business, so I sent Missus Helen Waite over to his place.  Now, when Ol' Forty has someone come in with a complaint, he can just tell that person to - - -

    GO TO HELEN WAITE!!!

I'll keep an eye out for that can of turpentine, Del.

Back in '68 a hippy was walkin' down a street with one worn out tennis shoe.  I asked him, "Hey, pard, did you lose a shoe?"

He answered, "Like, no, man.  I found one."
