There is a big Czech group in Ennis, which is south of Dallas on I45.  They have a Polka Festival in May that is Wild.  Had to work it as an Officer in Ellis Co. in the 70's.   Great Food, Lots of Dancin, and Lots of Beer.

I'm glad for LIT that AMC is runnin' another western festival.  I'll bet he wouldn't he happy about the goings on in here. ;D

...although, I really don't think the meal and drink choices are all too bad. ;D

TLD yanno when I was younger it was better just to keep drinkin rather than to stop, tha body tolerated it better.

When one a them young kids show up on a day I open with what I think might be a hangover, I run upstairs to tack before we open, I grab me one of them big bells they tie under on a them ridin' bulls.  Of course I sneak up and clang it a few many times.  If ya can't handle the hangover, don't be gettin'one. ;D

Used ta work with a guy in a body shop, every morning after payday he'd get his air chistle and cut another piece off that Chevy pick-up front bumper under his bench. ;D

Prolly a good idea TL.
     We've had a couple of the local officers pick up a deuce in the past year or so right here in their own county.  One was off duty an one was on.  Zero tolerance round here an odds are if ya got a hang over yer BAC aint zero.

     Del, the bell an the chisel sound fun.  I like to find an excuse to fire up the compressor an let er run.  ::)

Durrin those years I was havin such a good time in the bars that I didn't even realize that alot a the folks around me were doin "other stuff".  ::)  Moved outta state fer awhile an when I came back had a much clearer veiw of what was goin on an a rude awakening.  Very naive back then, just glad I never got mixed up in any of their buisisnes  ;)
