Del,  How is the ventilation system in the barracks?  Kraut is Cabbage and Cabbage means GAS!  The food sounds good though.

Hmmm, ask the Colonel, however also ask anyone who went to the 2005 one in Kansas about the night we had corned beef and cabbage and the Czech sweet kraut and pork.

All right Del, ya got me.  
    I took Lil out last night an without even thinkin about it had Beef Wellington....an a pint of Bass.  All the deceased Jennings an McBrides were prolly spinnin like turbines while I was sittin there gettin fat an happy.  No shame though, Yorkshire pudding weren't even on the menu.
    You will have some splainin to do when Tom gets back, I can almost see him huntin down the Harp kegs and usin the Bass for target practice    (gotta say it is a smoother brew, sorry gramma).

Got this idea from a friend and distant relative who's dad used to send them to scholl with a shamrock with an orange ribbon on it.  Was out gettin' quilt supplies last night at Wal-Mart, bought a yard of a material, two shades of orange, vine pattern.  Gonna make a bandanna tonight for tommorow.  Lady there joked about it hurtin' her eyes to cut it and asked what I was makin'.  Looked at her red hair turnin' grey and said I might be better off not to tell her since she looked Irish. 

She 'bout busted a gut.   Said she understood and was intitle to were either color tommorow.

The little Irish lass tendin bar at the pool hall las night was instructed by the owner to make corn beef an cabbage. 
     She tried to make the stove top recipe in a crockpot.  I imagine it will be done sometime tomorrow.  Won't do me no good cause I'll have a mess of my own by then but she's a sweet girl.  I was full on the Wellington by then anyhow.

One reason I was glad to become an Honorary Czech, now I can tell Czech/Bohunk jokes with know guiilt.  Don't know the answer to yers, but here's one from Newbrassky and the Czechs.

Wilbur is the Czech Capital of Newbrassky and the County Seat of Saline County.  Can you guess what they keep in the basement of the courthouse?
