When I wuz l'il, Sears used ta give away chicks ever Easter.

If ya give 'em a place ta stay.  Fed 'em a l'il bit ever day.  They'd get big 'nuff ta lay eggs.  'N when that got old they fried up awful good.

Rooster, give 'em chicks.  I'll bill ya for the advice later..................

Well... that wasn't exactly what I was thinking of, but Sod Buster is closer.

Spring is here and it is time to start the planting.  March weather was drier than normal with average temperatures. Sod Buster is beginning field work with cotton and peanut land being tilled. In anticipation of Trinity's growing needs for corn, we have been busy disking and spraying in preparation for planting.  Corn planting has now begun.  We are also preparing land for planting tobacco, potatoes, cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower. They should be planting this  week. Later planted vegetable crops are growing in greenhouses.
