I had a drive sproket go bad on the cakeout machine it was about 8 inches in diameter and about 1/2" thick.  I hung it on a length of #60 drive chain it would jump back and forth when hit but because of the roller chain it would'nt  turn sideways shot it with my 270 deer rifle a lot.  out to 150 yards it made a nice clang.

that spring thing sounds pretty good.  I got a friend down the road who's got a  salvage, I think I'll see if hes got any springs laying around.
We done it for Dixie,  nothing else

I found a piece of scrap plate last week, but I think it's to thin. I've been looking for a old spring for some time, just being in the right place at the right time. was going to cut it like a sheep (spit)

Yep Sod Buster may as well, However I refuse to put one of them damn stickers (OBX) on anything I drive.

Usually, I can get thru the rollin' road blocks on I81 'n get back ta a reasonable 80 or so.  But I don't drag a trailer.

158 runnin' thru Kill Devil Hills, 50 mph speed limit.  Stop light ever two blocks.  Folks won't go when the green comes.  Ya might get ta 35 before ya have to stop again.  Heh, heh, just like home.

Memorial Day weekend last year.  Went down 'n shot then went to Ole Henry's place 'n bought 'im outtah Ballistol.  Traffic goin' thru ta Nags Head was, without exaggeratin' a bit, bumper to bumper from Jockey's Ridge ta the Wright Memorial Bridge.  That's over 13 miles, folks.

I have that here...................

Yes the Prairie Dawg it's hoot. Flips up the air when you hit like the real thing.  The other, yes they sit low to the ground at pistol range they are too low, sit them out farther and shoot with rifle and they are okay. I've shot them with all of our rifles including my .30-30 and with the shotguns.  No signs of stress on them, over a year now.  Midway is offering them for 20 bucks this month

What about ricochet?  I ain' never shot at a spinner afore.

Vacation destination???  How about EVERY Destination.
Saw one today..."NNK".  Can you guess??  It means "Northern Neck"...the area of Virginia between the Potomac and Rappahannock Rivers.

I agree Trinity...... "Who tha' &*$@ cares!"

If We tied a little rope around  the prarie dogs neck and up to the bar, it'd look like he hung himself,  then them PETA people would be stirring around,  and you always see them pictures of when they gather of em stripping off their clothes to protest animal crulety
