LR, I can identify with that. Luckily, it has been long enough that the statutes of limitations have run out since my college days.

That's a good one, LR!

I had a bad experience once in college and swore off the clear & grain alchohol.  It was "Trick or Drink" night at the dorm.  You knocked on the door and said "Trick or Drink".....they gave you a drink.  The last door had a garbage can full of something grape-tasking.  I blacked out after that.  The next thing I knew I wsas driving home on the wrong side of the road.

Never again....

We called that purple stuff "Purple Passion". We mixed by a batch in one of those 55 gal rubber trash can. One of the guys used a wooden broom handle to stir it up with.  He left the broom handle in the trash can all night. The next mornin' that stuff had taken the paint off the broom handle.  I woke up the next morning sleeping in a lawn chair in the front yard.

Swore off the hard stuff years ago. 
My problem was I never fergot nuthin, just felt real bad about it later.  Good thing I had a lot of Pards that never let me go too far.  Must be all the sugar in the stuff, I'ds get a little over-energentic ::)  Pass me a beer these days an I'm just fine.

Leo, you do a lot of wild crap when you're young.  I was in college during the early part of Nam. After I joined the Army, I knew I'd be goin' and might not be back. I lived life to the fullest till I was 26 then I got married. I had almost 3 yrs as a cop under my belt by then.  My wife and I have been married almost 35 years.

26 must be the magic number.  Somethin bad happened to me back then and I handled it like a good trooper for about 6 months.  Then one day I snapped like a twig and ran amuck for a bit.  Got it out of my system after awhile.  Didn't meet Lil til I was 30 and that really settled me down.  When I tell the stories of things I did before, they are funny now, but I don't miss those days a single bit.

Now boys that can happen at a lot ages  :o   found myself suddenly single first time at 36,  I thought I might have overdone it lots of nights  and days, wore out a pair of Tony Lamas just dnacing.  but I lived and got married again, wife 2 died when I was 44, now that time I found I  could run a little wider swath, no kids at home. 

Met Jackie in a few months and we hit it off pretty quick.  wish I had met her years and years before.   course me and Jackie used to go dancing 2 to 3 times a week for several years, moved over here and been busy with turkeys ever since. ;D
We done it for Dixie,  nothing else
