Looks like the Cimarron lightning has some competition now.  Just got off the navy arms site and saw they have a new 'Scout" SAA in .38 Sp.  Nice lookin little gun...  www.navyarms.com/html/sa_rev_of_west.html

BTW......read in Will Ketchum's report on the NCOWS convention that they voted not to allow these scaled down revolvers in competition since there not a copy of anything that really existed in the old west.

;D Same gun by the same maker, Uberti.  EMF has them also! Like the 73's and 66's, they are all coming off the same production line, though it looks like NA has used a checkered plastic grip instead of wood.  So, they are all Uberti, so shop for price.

PS-Unless they have changed dramtically, they are not really suited for CAS very well......very poor sear engagement.....Cimarron recently had about 30 that had just come over at Tejas' for TP adjustment.....they were registering at less than a pound!  Some like them, some hate them, I can take or leave them.....properly set up they're OK and can give you good service.  Set up right, they are good for kids and ladies, but kids will grow, especially boys so I don't think they are worth the big prices they bring.

Well..........Bye!

Got it.  Top is not grooved but flat with adjustable sight mounted to it.  Thanks Klondike
