Just curious because I was about to start using a pair in CAS matches next month.  I was going to load it to the top with powder about 25 to 28 grains.

If it's well made and you take care of it, it will probably outlive you...'cept for occassional springs, hands, etc. that are all replaceable.

Yeah, I figured that springs and such would be about it.

Never heard of the frames on these being worn out...  Other parts, sure.   Just get a couple sets of replacement springs and hands in advance and your gun will never see much downtime.  (Even brass frames hold up pretty well, but I wouldn't use those with such heavy loads.)  I'd also buy a set of replacement screws...  You'll never wear out your screws if you use proper-size screwdrivers, but they are easy to loose if you drop them in tall grass.  Trust me.  Other parts (hammer, nipples, wedge, etc.) will wear out, but will show wear long before the part fails you.  So these can be bought as needed and don't really need to be carried in your shooter's bag or cart.

Cheers.
