LG, You can bet that the State just got a little safer to live in. Despite what the Left wing politicians tell you about accidental and Crimes of passion, if laws on the books are followed and back ground checks done properly. Bad guys will probably move to Iowa, or Colorado, proably the Republic of Denver, where you cant even carry a BB gun since The Columbine massicure (which never would have escalated they way it did if the teachers were allowed to have an equalizer) to do their dirty work Now their potential victums just got heeled. Dang, I love this. Kind of smacks of the old days. Maybe some of the Liberal Mayors need to find a different profession! Thanks for the update

Kansas got CCW last week too! The Gov vetoed but the House and Senate overrode the veto. There's hope for the people, yet.

I believe Iowa is the only antiquated state left that leaves the CCW decision up to the discretion of the sheriff.

Fortunately, the sheriff in my county (state capital) ran on the platform of "vote for me & pass the test = permit". Needless to say, he got elected. We need to be a "shall issue" state but there are a lot of Democrat "soccer moms" in the legislature.

Fox Creek, actually Nebraska is the 39th shall-issue state, and the 48th state
to allow citizens some provision to carry weapons for self defense. So there must be 9 states including Iowa that don't have "Shall Issue".

OT, last year when our legislators failed to over ride the governor's veto by one vote I tried to get members of our Bold forum here to write the Wisconsin Legislators that use the excuse that LEOs are against citizens carrying concealed weapons (this in spite of the fact that our state patrol endorsed the bill) I didn't have any response. Perhaps I need someone like you and Cuts to solicit them for me. I know that the rank and file of street cops have no problems with law abiding citizens carry concealed weapons.

Yes they do play in stadiums and they're dad blasted thing is close enough to my house and routes I have to take to get anywhere that I wish they did play in milo fields out in the country.

Never understood why anyone with a day off in the fall, would want to sit 'round watchin' a bunch a folks play with a funny shaped ball when there is birds and deer and other sort of eatable critters to chase.
