Dealers for Spencers

looking to buy a Spencer in 56-50.  Anyone know of any dealers in eastern KS or western Mo that has these in stock.

The following was offered by the Marshal of Cas City in response to an earlier similar post, Who are Spencer Dealers?

Currently the Spencer 56-50 is manufactured by Armi-Sport and is imported by Cimarron (19" barrel) and Taylor (20" barrel).

Cimarron distributes their Spencers to dealers directly or through wholesalers.

Taylor sells only to dealers.

You will not find that many Spencers in stock out there among the dealers, simply because the Spencer is not a high sale item. In most cases, the local dealer orders a Spencer upon request from a customer. In other cases, you can order a Spencer from another dealer in your state or out of state who ships to your local dealer for pick up. The local dealer performs the NICS check for a fee.

Taylor had a special on the 56-50 for some time, but that sale ended on January 15.

To get a "good" price, you need to find a dealer that bought the Spencers during the sales period (if they have some left in stock). They were sold retail in the $850.00 to $950.00 range.

If not, you have to expect to pay current retail price which probably is in the $1150-1250 range (based on current wholesale price and the dealer's markup).
