For Russet dye.... I'm looking for light to med. orange

haven't found quite what I'm looking for from Fibings... anybody doing blends what's the ratio & colors ?

I can make just about any dark color,  but this one is messing with me literally.

Is it as easy as a color , I'm not buying ?

I like the tone of Lincoln Russet dyd better than Fiebings. You may want to go to the shoe shop and see if they have any. It may be more to your liking. It may be less, but it's worth a try. If you want a really light color, maybe one of the tinted oils will do the trick.

Fiebing and tandy is about all I find down here , And I'm not crazy about tandy.

I'll try online for Lincoln brand...

Try Fiebings spirit dye in British Tan - lighten with alcohol or darken with Dark Brown............

Howdy, Pards,

I'll second that notion!

And all this time I thought you boiled walnut shells for that color.  ;D ::) :D ;)
All America lies at the end of the wilderness road, and our past is not a dead past, but still lives in us. Our forefathers had civilization inside themselves, the wild outside. We live in the civilization they created, but within us the wilderness still lingers. What they dreamed, we live, and what they lived, we dream. -- T.K. Whipple
