Ejector rod housing screw

The screw at the end of the housing, near the end of the barrel, that holds the ejector rod housing up against the barrell.  Is it necessary to loctite this?  Have heard that with heavy loads (i.e., .44 magnum hunting loads, for example) these screws can loosen or break.  That really a significant risk?

I loctite the ejector rod housing screw on all my guns, seen too many of them go flyin off and not just with heavy loads.  Use the blue loctite.  Do not use red loctite, you'll never get it loose again.
