DAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM ! you may have !

Bushwack Bill

Got me a Steel Framed, CCH Henry from UBERTI USA when it was on their Blemished Gun list.  They claimed it had a cracked Stock.  I got it for $200 less than Dealer Price and the Stock wasn't cracked, the wood had delaminated and my Gunsmith fixed that and put on the prettiest finish I've ever seen.   Oh Yeah, it's in .44/40.

O.T. Buchannan

Well, you all can add me to the list.  I got my Uberti Iron Framed .44-40 Henry in 1990, and shot it for 13 years straight in CAS, using blackpowder loads....a LOT of rounds.  I put my trusty Henry in the safe in 2004, so I could give more play to my Improved Henry Carbine (Uberti), and to my original Spencer Carbine.

Well, I'm pulling my old trusty Henry back out of the safe, and after a little cosmetic work this winter, I will be using it, especially at the NCOWS National Shoot in June.........

Happy Trails

Well ya better add me to the list too.  Been shooting the Henry Transitional rifle for a year now and have the Carbine version almost done.

Those beautifully engraved ones of Kid Sopris and Col Riddles sure do have me thinking.  Mighty nice fellas.

Kid Sopris

Aldo Uberti, about 20 years ago. The gun sat in a warehouse and never sold, until I saw it. I had it antiqued nickeled. Just recently.
Action very smooth, shot it for the first time Sat, 01/21/06. Extremely accurate. I thought about selling it but it matches my colts, almost. see for yourself. I'll Keep it.

Ottawa Creek Bill

Kid,
Now.....that is a beautiful set up!! If my eyes don't deceive me, those are pre 1878 Colts with the so called black powder frame and bulls eye ejectors...nice..

Col. Riddles,
Do you have Charles Galckman's address or phone number in Fairland. My mother-in-law has a Dairy Farm there and I just wondered if they might be neighbors? I also wanted to find out if he does revovlers? I have a first model Colt Richards 1860 conversion I want to have some early style engraving done on it.

Just sent you a PM with his address & phone #. Yes he does pistols & knives too. Ask him to send you some pics of the pair of Ruger stainless Vaqueros he just finished. He also makes custom knives & leather. I have two of his bullet loading strips & a Bowie knife & a boot knife & sheaths that he made.

Ottawa Creek Bill, Actually the Colts are early 3rd generations. You are correct about the Bulls-eye ejectors. Engraving done by John Adams Jr. Who I think is probably better than dad. Both do outstanding work for Colt and other manufactures. Chambered in 44-40, Action work done by Bob James of Phx., Az.  If you all visit my web site http//www.kidsopris.com and go to the link Guns of the West you will see better pictures. Both guns are done exactly alike, and the hammers with the steer skull engraved both sides are to compliment the Ivory grips, (right and Left side guns). Even the front sights are engraved. My CCW carry gun is engraved also the same way except for 4 3/4" barrel. The grips were done a little different as they were done by 'Willy B. Ellis" of Colt fame.

Yes I shoot them, and they will be on display at EOT, since I am working the Colt Booth and Happy Trails Childrens Foundation Booth, this year. And at the Carolina Bell Bust Out! See Y'all at the shoot.

Well I too ride for the Henry Brand.  I have a Navy Arms Military model in 44 wcf and a 66 in 44 spl.  They were both altered to feed 44 Russians but so far the Henry doesn't like the BP.  The guy I got it from said he never had a problem shooting the Russians in it.  I might get the chamber sleeved.

TOMBSTONE PARDEE

Appreciate it if you would add me and my brother to the list of "Henrys' Forever"
I've had mine since back in 1986 in 44WCF. He has two of 'em in 45 Colt. "Two"!!!
Before he got his, we both used mine in the North Carolina State Shoot. It was so hot,
we actually iced the barrel more than once. And no, (I know what you're thinking)
there was no damage done.
