hello i will be honored to join the 1860 Henry Shooters
I've a Uberti Henry in 44/40 with short barrel 18". I'm looking for a long barrel , but hard to find in france (because more than 10 shoots are classified like a M16)

Hello Chris, we have funny, pretty erratic gun regulations in Europe, haven't we?
If you want to shoot a Henry with 15 rounds in the tube come visit me in my little village near Frankfurt/Germany. If you can legally purchase a Henry with a magazin capacity of more than 10 rounds I have a Military Heny in .44 cal. that I might be willing to sell.

The roll call of the 1860 Henry owners needs to be updated. I've been an owner since Oct. 08 and I am not on the list.

I shoots me a Henry cause I like how it looks
It's a gun you can find in the history books

It gave sterling service in the '60s you know
Then headed West in the dust rain and snow

Defended some homesteads and put meat on the table
I'll continue to shoot it as long as I'm able

Didn't say it was fast, didn't say it was handy
But I'll tell ya pard, the Henry's a dandy!  ;D

Red Rock Shootist

I'm shooting a "military" 1860 Uberti Henry in 44-40, so you can add me to that prestigious list!

It's an accurate, reliable rifle that eats up black powder rounds with startling speed and consistency!

I have had my Navy Arms manufactured Henry since 1980 and have used it for critter hunting, to Cowboy Action Shooting to Civil War reenacting.  I have written several articles on the Henry as well as handling several original Henry rifles including a couple of Japanese marked Henrys.  I still have my first Navy Arms Henry and have owned 9 or 10 other Uberti made Henry rifles, now I am just down to two.  count me in.

I posted this back in March of last year, and assumed that I had been added to the membership list.  My request apparently feel through the cracks.  I can certainly understand why an active moderator is needed for this forum.

Howdy.

I'd like to added to your list.  I have 3 uberti Henrys:

1. Early mfg. Military Henry in the white serial # range 024XX 44-40 (favorite)  Real flashy! Keep it highly polished.

2. Iron frame (not case hard) 1 of 1000 from navy arms 44-40

3. Brass civilian 44-40 recent mfg.

Such abundance!  Can't hep it, enjoy collecting them!

It's what I want in lieu of a college ring, I'll get more use out of a Henry ;) ;D
