Was opening some applications for Roundup today and realized that I had no idea who the wife of one of the shooters was.  What the extremely sad part of this is situation is that we have shot with this pard for many a year and many a place and I am embarrassed to admit this.

We had a pard pass to the great posse in the sky this past October.  We had no idea what his wife's name or anything about her.  .  Dang, I really would hate for this to happen again.

If your spouse or significant other doesn't shoot, let's try to remember to at least cover their names.

Until we all meet again.

Heck I don't even know the real names of half the people that I shoot with.  Now you want me to know their wives names!!! :o :o :o

Actually I do know the real names of about half the people we shoot with.   ;D  Some of them have even let me visit their house before. ::)

Glad you brought this up, McMate. Clubs also need to know if their regular members are on or need medication. I carry Nitro for my heart, fortunetly hardly ever need it. If a pard were to go down, it would help paramedics if they knew a little history. And there spouses should be called if not at the shoot. Rascal Ralph
In case you don't know me, I'm just a friend you hadn't met yet.

Mc Mate, you are right on target, with this post.  It's taken me a few years to know folks real names.  I wear a medic alert chain.  I even put med. info in my hat, on a business card.   ;)

Thats a danged good idea putting your medical information on a card in your hat.  Thats something everyone should really think of doing especially if they go to shoots alone or with a different posse.  I for one will be doing that here shortly.  Thanks for the great idea.  And McMate thanks for starting this post it was a great idea.

My husbands name? Half the pards I ride with look at me funny when I mention him and say "yer married?" then there's one teases me about still not see'in him. LOL. He's really not imaginary  ;D

I like the idea of putting your medical info in your hat...now that you've said that I will look there should someone need help. Our club does have a spot on who to contact in case of emergency on the sign up form.
