Gents-

This is a quick trip in and out.  With a bit of luck, I'll be gone long before anyone knows I was there!  ;D

Fun part was that I got to requalify with the M4 and M9 (Beretta), plus fam-fire the M11 (Sig) - as a DOD civilian I don't requalify every year like the military does.  I pick up weapons once I get in theater and they don't have an M11 for me, so I had to qual with the M9, though I'd rather carry a 1911 if they'd let me.   I like it when my duty day is at the range and someone else buys the ammo!

US Scout I like those kind of deals.

Do keep that head down - I have a navy Logistician brother who is in Kabul Afghanistan teaching logistics who is surrounded, thankfully by grunts and soldiers, but he needs to keep head down too.

Squares? C'mon lets form the "Fighting Tortoise" - an albiet ancient but at the times formidable formation!!

Your friend and,
Ride to the sound of the guns, but watch out for bushwhackers! Godspeed to all in harm's way in the defense of Freedom! God Bless America!

Hmmmm... Distinct red square, out on the open plain, kind of a nice big ARTILLERY bull'seye!

About 1800 yards -   Shell - 3.5 sec. fuse -  should give a good air burst.

This is the Victorian-era "Major Major", acknowledging your "stand down" directive with the utmost relief! ( ... I was deathly afraid that I might actually have to do something!  ;) )
