I have always liked the idea of the gated conversion. I just have not been able to muster enough guts to start grinding on a perfect conditioned revolver. Maybe one of these days. Nice looking revolvers Marshal.

Thanks, Pappy. LOL, I know what you mean. It took me an hour of staring and measuring to work up the nerve to drill a hole in the skin of my airplane to mount an antenna, one time. 15 antennas later, I could drill holes in my airplane without hesitation.

This was actually easy, it just took a couple of hours grinding, sanding and checking to make sure I didn't take too much off. I used a lot of tape to protect the areas I didn't want to scratch or get filled with grit and filings. It was harder to get the tape adhesive off that it was to remove the metal.
