A very nice early Remington Navy in  .36cal by Uberti. This is the one with the more accurate dimensions and smaller frame and grips most sought after by Re-enactors and those who appreciate historical accuracy. Uberti's Navy .36cal manufactured today use the larger .44cal Army frame with a .36cal barrel and cylinder.
Very good condition. A couple of minor dents in the walnut grips, and retains all the original varnish.
What makes this even more desirable is the early date code for 1971(XX7), and stamped "Lyman - Middlefield Conn." on the barrel top flat. All serial numbers match.

This has a 6 1/2" barrel and the smaller grip frame of the period Navy's, which always fits my hand more comfortably. A nice detail is the use of an 'eared' grip escutcheon like on original Navy's.
Lock up is tight, minimal scoring of the cylinder which indicates it's well timed, and it has been a great shooter.
Asking $340.00 plus shipping. (Estimate $25.00-$35.00) Black powder firearms need no FFL.
