This is for Cowboys and Cowgirls that shoot these.If you shoot half cock hammer and no transfer bar,What weight springs do you shoot or how light can you go?

There is NO pat answer.  An awful lot will depend on how much parasitic drag has been eliminated from the friction surfaces of the action.  ALL the friction surfaces.  There will also be a dependence on what type/brand of primers used.  It will be a trial and error process.  What works in a particular gun may well not work at all in any other.  Good Luck.

  Nope.  I personally haven't worked on a Ruger in years.  I have no idea what springs Ruger is running currently.
