I have a 2nd gen C series Colt 1851 Navy .36 with case, flask, and mold.  I don't think they all came together originally, but they were together when I bought them.

I'm asking $790 shipped Priority Mail and insured.  I'm planning to put this on GunBroker but thought I'd post it here first in case anyone's interested.

I have a few dozen more pictures available upon request.

This revolver was made in 1976, and all numbers match, of course, including the inside of the loading lever where I didn't even know they numbered it.  I don't know whether this gun has ever been fired, but it may have been fired and cleaned up.  The timing is great.  There is some wear in the cylinder stop notches but no hint of a turn line.  The face of the muzzle is unblued; I don't know why Colt did that, but from what I've read these came that way.  The reputable/national auction house I bought it from described the finish on the barrel and cylinder as 99% and the bore as excellent, and I have not put any wear on it since buying it.

Now I'm going to describe everything I can find wrong with the gun, so the buyer doesn't have any surprises.

There is a faint scratch on the lower left barrel flat, near the muzzle.  I didn't even notice it until I was taking pictures to list the pistol.  The only rust I could find was one small spot on the cylinder right above "COLT'S PATENT" and one small spot on the right side of the rammer.  There's also a little speckling on the right side of the frame above the rear of the trigger guard, and a tiny bit on the left side of the loading lever, near the hinge.  There are also a couple speckles on the unblued muzzle.

As to the grips and trigger guard, the grips have a few scuffs and dings, primarily on the right side.  The silver-plated trigger guard is fading to a bit of a brassy tone on the right side, and there are a few light scratches and spots on the underside of the trigger guard and grip frame.

The only thing really noticeable about the whole gun is the light damage to the grips on the right side.  Otherwise it looks great unless you pick it up for a close inspection.  There could be other flaws that I didn't notice, but that's everything I saw.

There's a brass .36 caliber mold for one round ball and one little conical bullet.  There's some discoloration on the mold that makes me think it's probably been used.  The four-digit number on the mold doesn't match the gun, and the side of the mold also has a mark from having a sticker on it at one time (although the residue has all been cleaned off), so I'm guessing somebody bought this mold secondhand and added it to the kit.

There's also a reproduction powder flask.  I can't see anything saying where the flask was made, but the spout says "MADE IN ITALY 24 GR."  There are a few dings to the finish on the bottom of the flask, but nothing major and no dents.  Both sides of the flask have the same scene.

Out of everything in the set, the case is in the worst shape, primarily because of damage to the top.  There's a splinter/gouge missing out of the top of the case, but at least you can't see that when it's open for display.  And overall, the wood of the lid does look a little dried out.  Also, the lining is a little loose in the corner inside (and on one side of the bottom which is also felt-covered).  There's also some wear to the lining from the gun, including both at the top left (from a barrel) and near the bottom right (from a grip).  Funny thing is, this gun doesn't quite reach those spots, and the muzzle mark on the side of the case looks like it came from a round barrel.  I'm pretty sure this case once had an 1860 Army sliding around with its longer barrel and grips.  The key is also missing.  Still, the case looks fine overall when displayed open, although I wouldn't say it's in "collector" condition.  But if you want a cased Colt to look cool sitting around and maybe shoot once in a while (or a lot), this is the gun for you!

I prefer payment by money order or cashier's check, very discrete PayPal or Zelle, or GunTab (I will cover the basic fee, and if you choose to use a credit card instead of a bank account, you'll be responsible for GunTab's credit card fee).  I will try to pack very carefully and won't just have the items tossing around loose inside the case.
