Not to rub it in, but it's 65 and partly cloudy (or mostly sunny, whichever you prefer).

Biggest news from here is that I sent another new gun to CA waiting period purgatory today. Went to sportsman's warehouse intent on buying a Mossberg 702 semi auto 22lr, ostensibly on sale for $109. alas, they were sold out, but they did have a Henry youth model on sale, which all said and done was $299, plus extortion fees. So in 10 days, I'll have a Henry 22lr lever gun.

I actually like the youth stock on it. Makes it quite handy. I'm also a relatively small fellow.

I had one of Henry's with adult stock, LOP was 14" a bit much for my taste in lever gun.
I had to order the youth stock which was 13".
I believe it was $60 or 65 shipped with the brass butt plate and tang screws complete.

Still under the influence of sinusitis, good days and bad.
The other day was rough, I had vertigo when I woke.

Well, this just isn't very fair! Slim, up in the Great White North, is at 5 degrees, while hundreds of miles south here in Mo, it's -4! The Great Blizzard of 2025 topped out at about 5-6" of the evil white stuff here, which isn't going away for a while, won't get much above freezing until next Sunday.

Morning, evening or whatever. Went to Lincoln today, stocked up on supplies, took some paperwork to my daughter for her to do, took her and one of my friends out for Chinese and saw my mom a couple hours. 

Got home, unloaded groceries, after taking Brown Dog out, put away freezer and refrig stuff and he told me I needed a nap.  He was right, napped 3 1/2 hours and now awake.  Will tinker around till I'm tired again.  He majesty went out, looked at me for a bit and snorted and went back to bed.  As long as he don't throw off my pillows and blankents like she sometimes does.
