Clawed it's way to 49 today with heavy rain, our place looked like we had installed a moat. Cooler temps next week with rain and possible snow. We had a Valentine's get together tonight at church, lots of fun, the ladies' did a really nice job fixing everything up and decorating.

Back in my hometown of Burlington, Wisconsin, the temp is currently +7F with a windchill of-11F. Here in the Sunshine state, the temp is 72F and sunny. While I don't miss the cold weather, I do miss the skiing. We used to live 20 minutes from a ski resort in Wiscosnin. I used to get a season pass and prayed for snow. We started skiing right after Thanksgiving and on into March. Most of the time, we skied on man made snow which was pretty decent. 

The ski resort will be closed early today due to cold weather!

Currently, in Burlington, Wisconsin, the temp is -10F and the wind chill is -27F. No wonder, they closed the ski hill yesterday. It's also closed today. Many years ago, I skied one time in -48F windchill. It was brutal to say least, also pretty stupid.

It's 66 degrees right now in the Sunshine State.

 Temperature of 7 degrees and light sn** here in the Missouri Ozarks. Supposed to be a blizzard of all blizzards coming tonight, with 8-12 inches of the evil white stuff. Retirement sure beats trying to deliver mail in all this mess.

29 here in Arkansas right now with 4-6" of snow with light ice predicted this afternoon. Ran to the store for a couple prescriptions and the Walmartians are scary to say the least. Anyway got fresh pot of coffee going and feet up in the recliner. Y'all stay safe.
