Are any new-design lever action rifles faster than the old toggle links?

Are there any (more) modern-designed lever action rifles that are clearly faster than the typical CAS 1860/1866/1873 rifles?

What even is available in pistol-calibers, the S&W 1854 and the POF Tombstone? Is there anything else?

Can anybody who has shot them compare?
