I picked up a Spencer Rifle at auction this past weekend.  I have pictures from the auction catalog, but don't know how to post them.  Any information available? Thank you.

Hi 380VI,

Checked on your Spencer Rifle serial # 4634 - very good chance it was issued to Company E,72nd Indiana Volunteer Infantry in April 1863.  Closest match I found listed is another Spencer Rifle with serial # 4636.
