Does anyone make the decapping pin for the Winchester 1880 loading tool 45-75 cal ?
The tools are available but I rarely see one offered with the pin.

I'd  also be interested in knowing if someone was making them.
I love using these old tools!
Thnx Gents!

If it is just a straight piece of stock maybe a cut off piece of a drill bit would work? Do you have a photo of what you need?

It's also a case mouth tool as well as a decapper and works as part of the tool. But as a separate piece it's easily lost. I'll find a pic, but I don't have any measurements.

Here are two originals from my collection. Note, they just say 45 W so could be used for .45-60 or .45-75. The case mouth reforming ridge was added after 1882 and is one of Barlow's patents.  He later formed the Ideal loading tool company.  The one without the case mouth reforming ridge is pre-1882.

These have been reproduced over the years.  I don't know who was making them but they turn up on eBay and at gun shows.

They are 1.80 inches long and .45 inches in diameter.

Thanks Missouri and Boone!
I've had the thought to make one up but all I have to work with is a hack saw and drill press with files. I've made do before on other bits and bobs  and can do it but if there were any already in the works or available I'd go for one.  I think it's time to make one.  ;)
