Got up, went to T town, got Rx, went to the grocery store got a few things, we came home and took a nap and are making tacos, iced tea and a cobbler later.

cooked a 1/2 ham the other day, had ham and been doing beans ate some froze a lot for quick meals.  Did split pea, Grat Northern, what was left became baked beans, the big limas last night.  All leftovers in the freezer.

Going to Lincoln tomorrow, got some errands, hit Costco and get rice and coffee, tea bags, rice and cheese, flour, hopefully can find some Rye and Bronze Chief.  Spring flours can get hard to get this time of year till the grinding catches up.

Another day of puttering around, thinking about some of those "not cinnamon rolls" with orange marmalade and shredded coconut. Picked up some stuff for that.

Not sure on supper yet, thinking about taking the pizza route, have some fake Canadian bacon needs used.  Got ham, It sausage, pepperoni and anchovies in reserve, hamburger also but not that desperate, better to make tacos, got shells. ;D

Still got a couple things to unload, missing a bag of coffee, may clean the car some today.  Ordered a cart, be here Monday will fit in the utility room, will help get stuff in easier, dog food may sit there till then. ;D   If I run out in his snack bar, I'll get the smaller spare one out from under the bed, then get another.

We're having Christmas day at our house again and did some shopping today at the nearby Amish Market. This is the best food market we've ever shopped at. Their meat, seafood, produce and bakery departments are awesome.

Well, been fighting a bug most of the week, but think I've got it on the run. Supposed to be wet the next few days with the temps running in the 50s. The Missus has all the rest of the gifts wrapped and the tree looks real nice. Back to work tomorrow then Christmas week! May God bless you all my friends!

One of the first things I do in the morning after waking up is brew a pot of coffee. I use Cameron's whole bean coffee and it costs around 12 bucks from Amazon for a 32 oz bag. This morning an ad popped for Black Ivory Coffee. Looks like it costs around $60.00 per cup. I was curious and found this website: https://blackivorycoffee.com/ Even if I could afford it, this wouldn't be my cup of tea (coffee).

Elephant poop coffee :o

I've know about Kopi luwak, also known as civet coffee, it's a coffee that consists of partially digested coffee cherries, which have been eaten and defecated by the Asian palm civet.

defecated = POOPED aka craped out

What I'd like to know, when and who decided civet cat and Elephant poop coffee was GOOD idea?

I mean did someone try first or did he serve it to some poor jerk, and wait for the reaction ???

Imagine, sifting through feces for Beans to brew...hard pass  ::)

I'm fond of Peruvian Mountain, had a work acquaintance once years ago who was from Peru.
Every year he went home at Christmas, and he'd bring me a gift of the dark roast.
Good stuff, poop content if any was unknown. :-\

I used to go to Wawa's from time to time for the Cuban blend or Colombian,
anymore thought its rare.

Mostly, I just brew Dunkin Donut blend at home.

when planets align...do the deal !

All I know is that if someone ever does feed me one of those blends, someone's gonna have to post my bail. Any way, we are getting ready for Christmas, I'm getting over a bug from last week, yesterday I worked all day and it trashed me out. Back to work tomorrow, hopefully I don't have to work Tuesday, but it is likely.Weather is due to rain most of this week, with temps in the 40s and 50s.
