It is a blow up from an early photo of Bozeman's Main Street in 1870. It shows Walter Cooper's shop on the left side of the picture and the construction of his new shop underway, across the street. He moved into the building in 1872, and all 3 of these Sharps rifles were shipped there. 2 of them were actually in the same shipment in 1877. Even the SRC 1892 is marked "Montana Armory" which was another business Cooper had in Bozeman in later years...








I never considered myself a failure...I started out at the bottom and happen to like it here!
