Got this 1C2 four barrel with a broken main spring and a bent screw for the interlock/barrel latch. The screw is much like but different than a #4x40 so it was a lathe project. 1095 spring stock from Brownell's is easy to work with to make the spring. The broken one was made from a file and broke exactly where the teeth were. Gluing the stock to a piece of metal allow the draw filing needed to thin the stock down to match the broken one. After the sharp bend was made in the vice the curve was formed by hand. Two propane torches did the heat then drawn slowly to blue. Ready for the next poker game! 🤠
