Yup, I know we have a section on our CAS knives, but I thought we should have one here just to show off favorite pocket or hunting knives. To start it off, nothing fancy just a simple little XX Case knife I picked up yesterday. A Texas Toothpick with carbon steel blades, I prefer these over the high polish stainless blades, because they hold an edge better.

Yep ! something of a knife-a-holic myself...

I have my Official Cub Scout folder
 Imperial First type of Cub Scouts of America Knife with BLACK plastic handles and raised METAL silver shield, circa 1949-52.
I've had it 68 years, carried it as Cub Scout, it was used when I got it at 8 years old.

Several other vintage folders, and modest bayonet collection.

Major, i have that cubscout knife circa 1973.     It looks about the same.   Will need to track it down.

Mog - Imperial and later Camillus made a Cub Scout Folding Pocket Knife by the 70's
     Early Imperial had black handles I think Camillus had blue.

In the direction of NON-CAS blades, this one was a gift from my late Sister.
I've had it 20 + some years,
The Spetsnaz machete, traces its origin in the Russian special forces, known as Spetsnaz.

Another in my Smatchet collection is this US Model 1917 "Bolo".

Made by Plumb, at some point in its history Marcita grip scale replaced the original wood.
The quality of the replacement was very good. I have not yet seen any photos of similar scales.
I don't know if it was WW II or later.
