I love the smell of Black Powder in the morning!

I got put on Medicaid, seems to have happened and never got the notification that system is a mess right now.  Oldest daughter was that sickly girl that fought for it in Congress a few years back.  Tomorrow she is taking my Mom down and seeing why she got rejected.  They messed hers up and she had to pay some money out for Medicare she shouldn't of had to and seems to have brought fire and brimstone on them.

I have to unload car, got RVS and Flu shots today.  Drs office don't even offer covid ones anymore.  Didn't want it anyway.

Got a lot of groceries in Lincoln today, need a few more things I'll get next Tuesday and I can hunker down.  So far I only have two more trips to Lincoln this year.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

'Tis 36 and mostly cloudy. "Colder. Mostly cloudy. A chance of snow showers and rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 40s. West wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 40 percent."

Quote from: Major 2 on November 19, 2024, 09:25:02 AMCold (Cool) Front headed here overnight it will mix with the last Gasp of TS Sara.
We'll get rain in the AM.

The big Rain mass (ahead of the cold front and Sara remnants) passed well to the South of us.
Its cloudy, but no rain as yet and not much expected.
Quite different than the forecast we saw the last few days.
The front should be thru here by noonish.
Lower 40's forecasted for Thursday & Friday.

Coffee & toast with Concord grape jelly was the morning repass.
Gonna, work on a "Bug Out Bag" emergency EDC, I have one but I'm adding some items.

Not all I got by far, but the most important stuff.  Was almost out of paper products but first I bought since early Aug.  Meat and cheese and coffee I was OK on, but don't hurt.  We could get snow sometime and I ain't going out in it.

It is sn*wing here, but melting when it lands.

light mist of moisture as the front came through, no rain in my local.
Earlier forecasts were way off base.

Likely the one that hit the Northern Iowegions so hard.  Upper 40's today with gusts to 50mph.  Not much now, going to below freezing the next few nights, WC is going to be bad up here by the water tower.  Good things I'm holing up and my door is on the east side with two windbreaks to the north.

Some days I wonder where he gets his ideas.  He decided the lion would lay down with the lamb.  Right now he has his head on my shoes and has his blanket and a bunch of toys blocking the way to the door.
