So this isn't mine, although it's very tempting.  But I can't justify it right now, so I'm passing the ad along, as there's got to be somebody out there wanting to pick one up in good ol' .44 W.C.F.

On the SASS Wire:

"Winchester Sporter w/octagon 24" barrel 44-40 for sale.  It has the lightened lever safety/trigger return spring installed and lever wrap.  I've only put about 250 rounds through it.  It is missing a tang screw, but other than that is LNIB.  Asking $850, I'll cover shipping."

I assume it's a Miroku, although he doesn't mention that anywhere.  But it says Winchester, and I doubt it's antique, so...

The missing tang screw appears to be just a filler screw for a tang sight mounting hole.
