Yeah, and the engraving pattern doesn't appear to be quite the same.  I do like both Meldrum versions, the old and the new.

Definitely a nice pistol.  I like pearls, too, have it on a pair of Colts and a Thunderer which I intend to have engraved.

My question is for Abilene,
In his quest Missourijack said, he spoke to Charlie Hanson @ EMF.

In 2007, I met a Charlie Hanson (IIRC) in the Cimarron Booth, at the Orlando Fl Shot Show.
I had on order a then new offering Uberti's 2nd model Richards thru Cimarron. I spoke to
  Charlie Hanson there.
So, coincidence ? or has Charlie Hanson move on to Pietta and EMF ? (Not outside the realm of happenstance I suppose)
Or, is my memory rusty also Not outside the realm of happenstance.

 just curious  :-\

By the way, V. nice gun and interesting thread, Missourijack..thanks for posting

Then my mind is still a steel trap !

somewhat sprung and a tad rusty, non the less still harbors
lots of trivia.
Some of which is tainted.

Thanks  :)

I remember "Bad Bob" from the Roy Bean film and Stacy Keach's hilarious performance as the character. Not the historic Bob,but I wonder if his moniker was inspired by him. His name was Bob. And he was Bad ;)

Bad Bob: [shoots a horse] Cook him for me. Smother him in onions.
[he bites into a raw onion, then drinks hot coffee straight from the pot]
Nick the Grub (Jackson gang: How do you want your horse?
Bad Bob: Blue.  (From IMDB.com)

Sometimes I do the Bad Bob hands shimmy before saying the starting line.  :)
