Kent Palma - R.I.P.

I received this email from the Texican Rangers SASS club this morning:

" It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I let you know we lost a dear friend and fellow cowboy shooter this past Sunday - Jake Jones (Kent Palma). He passed suddenly  while at home with his wife Wanda. He will be cremated. There is no service or gathering planned as of yet. I will keep you informed as I receive additional information. Please keep Wanda and the family in your prayers. May God be with them now and always as they work through this difficult time.

I shot with Kent many times until he quit CAS to spend his weekends at the Alamo some years ago.  At that time, I had no idea that he had previously been heavily involved in NCOWS (I wish I had).  I discovered that while reading through old Shootist back issues I bought from Mike Zimmer.  I'm sure all you NCOWS old-timers will remember Kent.  Prayers up for the family.
