Here is a relic WW1 Ross Bayonet, I found on eBay
It was pretty rough, but not hopeless.
After the rust was neutralized and removed, I restored the original grip scales.

Thank you Sir, :)
Your former Mosin Nagant bayonet is up there just peeking out behind the blue Neuport.

I scour eBay for likely projects, but the prospects have either dried up or worse
have followed the Milsurps themselves in the crazy money zone.

Still, I look hoping to find a former proud blade reduced to prying open paint cans.
Not at all a fitting retirement for an old battle blade.

Here is an interesting one, a WW 1 German Ersatz Bayonet.

The German Ersatz (substitute) type Bayonets were constructed during the early years of WWI and were designed to fit both the Gewehr 88 (M1888 Commission Rifle) and Gewehr 98 (M98 Mauser Gewehr 98) German rifles.

Thanks Mike, its kinda my sanctuary, fortress of solitude, slash reloading room
and the occasional leather hobby assemblage and of course restoration zone.
Some of the artifacts go to various portable show & tells supporting veterans.

Sometimes I just go out (it's in my detached garage) and just sit among the
the artifacts and reflect  :) or I read.

Bayonets are from England, Canada, US, Germany, Spain, France, Russa and Japan.
ERAs include pre-WW1 Europe to WW2.

Some were relic's and restored, others were survivors.

Very kind words, I appreciate it.

I'm still looking for the old war orphans, sadly the folks with them are on to me  :(
and have been asking beyond my pay rate.
