What is the correct holster for the M1902 Colt?  It is the 1878 with the large trigger guard box.

I believe What Price Glory has one like that, or at least did.

BTW...should you buy one of the replicas and that new finish is not what you want for your guns or your impression...  :-\

The problem with the M1902 Colt is it is much larger than the other two.  It is the Colt 1878, with the large trigger guard built for use in the Philippines, but had the misnomer hung on it of "Alaskan".

The Model 1902 used a modified Model 1885 - the variant that housed both the Colt and Schofield - Manila saddlers did the work.

The holsters pictured are for the .38 Colt DA.

:) AHEM !! ;)

I don't espouse to be a great collector of Holsters..  Or a collector of anything, for that matter.  However, the holster and belt as shown aside, I could really really wrap my hand around that DA Colt You Betcha.  (Actually prefer TWO, shooting gunfighter dontcha know!!)

      Greetings, Major 2...!

I've been looking for a photo of THIS holster for some time...! THANKS! It just so happens that about twenty years ago, a Colt's 1902
followed me home, one of the Bannerman's Surplus revolvers, I'm certain. Between then, and my acquisition, it has received what I will
call a "$10 Buffing-Wheel Reblue Special". Dad, knowing me all too well, suggested that I load up a few boxes of BP .45 Colt cartridges,
and, "...carry some of that reblue off...!" I did shoot it, but never 'carried' it, for lack of an appropriate holster.
Perhaps, I can use this photo for a pattern...
