Would yall say guns with the "LH" serial numbers are worth the same as normal production USFA?  I have seen that sometimes USFAs do not sell well with alternate serial numbers

Well, allow me to be Elephant inna room.  USFA are over-priced regardless.  In the world of CAS intended guns, the work performed to make them user friendly is usually a flush.  Not gonna get it back.

Collectors are more interested in items unmolested.  Pristine, as it twer.  Of course my opine is from one who doesn't "collect" anything.  Whilst USFA are certainly very well made examples of SAs, the prices are . . . . . . . .

I wouldn't pay extra for a LongHunter gun. I don't think an action job on a later domestic gun is worth it. Mine are as slick as a professionally tuned Colt but with tighter tolerances.

It's a shame that USFA had to go out of business for their prices to get to where they should have been all along. They were selling standard SAA's for $900 when they should have been $1500 and pre-wars for $1200 when they should have been $2000.
