Add my condolences, Professor.
While reading your post I was listening to Sinatra singing "My Way", and thought it appropriate sentiment to accompany your tribute about a life well lived.

Graci John - most appropo

I suppose I ought to donn my personna and offer some "graveside humor" regarding calling
Mein Vater up via myprof marvel xtal ball and chewing him out for not sending the bank Mom's death cert!
Lol.

But he had literally everything else covered nicely, so if thats all I have to complain about this
Time around is pretty darn easy. And thanks to the interwebs, and free long distance plans , it is easy to get
Professional interstate advice, then the forms, then hurry Up and wait lol.

My lovely spousal unit, SWMBO, had a grand dream last night that Dad wasn't taking any of my long distance
Xtal ball calls Just now because Him and Mom are making up for lost time apart!

In other news, the epic blizard of March 2024 continues to dump precipitation on the Great Southwest,
From southern Az, thru NM, southern Co, Tejas, the Sooner State (oklahoma for the less educated) and points east.

East Mountans and the plains east of ABQ got another 8-12 in last night and it started up again an Hour ago!

Professor, just saw this, been through that so prayers are definitely going on here for you and your family. We've had family in over their Spring Break, so that's had the place bouncing with the bunch here. Gonna take them to the range tomorrow afternoon and that will be a lot of fun. My g'nephew Lucas can't wait ti try out several of my older guns and especially my .270.

I concur. Mom was the Lore Giver of the family and all its ancestry. Many a day that I wish I could talk to her again about family history.

Well hit 76 here this afternoon and just beautiful. Took the g'kids to the gun range today and had a great time. Nice to see I've finally got the Uberti 66 running again, man it is smooth. Kids liked it too.

52 and sunny.  Rita let the dog out yesterday, first time since Sept.  Back stairs are not the greatest.

It means I can leave for a while if she don't want to go.

She also had us run around and find stuff, she's back crocheting again. Much better than just watching TV.

Ordered a plush possum for my granddaughter. Long story for another day but her Grandmother just rolled her eyes (my Ex) at the game feed the other day.  A long story that stays alive and dates back to the summer 0f 1981, a tale worth telling and needs wrote down. ;D  Amazon is handy but don't use them much.  3 bigs roll things of the black yarn she uses came also, plus a spool of 6 lb braided.  Going to do some this year.  Probably at first go to the one city lake and fish of the fishing dock with the other old men and see how it goes.

Going to use Dad's 5500C, I got it for him Christmas 1977.  He always wanted one but not for $50.   Offered it to brother or the kids, seems I am the only one smart enough to use one. ;D

Went to the club that runs our state SASS championship today for their "Pot luck, swap and sell Cabin fever" shoot, Didn't have any shooting because the day before they got 20 inches of the evil white stuff. This event usually brings in around 55-60 people, I think we may have had 25 and no one was buying much. I sold 1 brass bag for a dollar. But the food was great and I got to hang with friends that I haven't seen since last CAS season.
