 Morning all.

55 and sunny, heading for 72. Looks like the rain is giving us a break for the time being.

Spent most of yesterday building myself a work bench out in the garage. Someone more skilled than I would have probably finished in 2-3 hours, but it took me 7 ::) now if I could just figure out how to post a picture on here from my phone, I would show y'all.

Todays plans include mounting some pegboard in the garage, attaching a bench vice to my work bench, and building a "stop stealing your neighbor's hay" device at the barn to keep our horse from stealing his neighbor's hay.

Today was in the low 60s, damp, windy and overcast. But, got some rifle scopes swapped around then took my Bride out to lunch and let her do some shopping. A very nice way to spend the day. Back to work tomorrow, might make it a short day if it's slow as the new kid will be there too.

My in-laws in central NE got about 3 inches of snow as well, but we got nothing here less than 2 hours north.

Probably a different storm though!

We are at 7200 feet on the eastern slope of Sandia foothills. The Sandia is due west and about 10,000 ft.
We have the Manzano Range to the south and the Sangre De Cristo to the north.

makes for an interesting growing season, but even down in Albuquerque ( ~ 5000 ft ) we have 4 seasons!

Oh great! If this goes away . . .
Now what am I going to do if I need weather reports when traveling in Poland!?

I suppose I could make my clothing decisions based on sticking my hand out the window . . .

There's trouble!
Right here in River City!
There's trouble with a capital "T" and that rhymes with "P" and that stands for political opinions!

Afternoon all. Happy "how do I change the time in the microwave" day.

50 and cloudy today, with rain expected tonight.

Fed and scooped apples at the barn this morning, now getting ready for the weekly pilgrimage to Walmart. After that, have to stop at the Tractor Supply for some equestrian supplies, then laundry. I might also find some time to load some 44spl ammo, since I finally got a few hundred large pistol primers.

Last night I changed the wax ring on the upstairs toilet. Mrs TK noticed it leaking. Come to find out, at some point somebody had installed the old ring upside down and just filled the entire underside of the toilet with silicone caulk to solve the "not sealing right" problem, which had finally worn through: hence the leak. That took almost an hour to get straightened out. Thankfully there doesn't seem to be any water damage to the subfloor.
