We were swamped today at the LGS and short handed to boot, but we made it. I did succumb to temptation and brought a Ruger LCP2 home for a new pocket gun. Last night was our church's Valentine Banquet and was a really fun night. Counting our Engagement, this makes 40 years of Valentine's together.

Congratulations Deacon.  I mean on 40 years, although the LCP2 is a very nice pocket gun.  I really like mine, especially with a green Viridian laser on it.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are hot.

Went to the local "toy" store after verk. Put money down on a used Taurus 66. Their version of the S&W 686 plus.

'Tis 25 and overcast. High of 36.

Morning all.

39 and clear, headed for 58.

Mrs. TK is out horsing around at the barn before work, leaving me to other more masculine pursuits.  Things like cleaning the refrigerator, doing the laundry, mopping the kitchen.  I guess it beats shoveling horse apples. ::)

We celebrated our 2nd anniversary last month, but his is our 5th Valentine's day.

We will have number 60 this coming November. The Lady should get a trophy for putting up with this old coot.

Got up for good about an hour ago, I guess I took the day off.  Day 30 of her being home, doing much better on her own.  I just needed a catch up day, I think I needed it.

Have to get up early or rather early for us tomorrow, she has a cat scan, been 2 months, hoping and expecting no change.  Probably do every couple months for a while and if good will be longer between them.

That's positive news Del, you all sure need some of that!

I myself, took an hour + power nap yesterday wasn't planned, I just zoned out.

Just sipping coffee, planning my campaign!

Cool here today, but at least no rain. According to the Missus yesterday was "yucky", that's about the strongest language she will ever use. Gonna pick up the g'niece from school for piano lesson. Got a new upper for the evil AR yesterday, so now I can shoot 5.56/.223 and .300 Blackout.

Tested positive for Covid this morning. So far, just mild symptoms. This is the third time for me.

Oh! man, I'm sorry to hear that John, I hope it stays mild and you shake it quickly.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are hot.

A little excitement at verk on Monday afternoon. I found a fire in a ceiling exhaust fan. Used a fire exstinguisher on it but was not sure it was out. So, a coworker called the fire dept. They found it had followed the exhaust ducting into the attic. They used about 100 gal to put it out. More water damage than fire damage. ServPro is doing cleanup today and tomorrow. The fire tripped 3 circuit breakers. Electrician is coming on Monday.

'Tis 20 and overcast. High of 41. Could get 3" of white tonight.

River City John

Had our 47th Anniversary December last.
Marriage is two people, rough as a cob, gradually grinding and smoothing out in order to fit perfectly.

A sign of aging, just installed a grab bar on the door jamb leading from the garage up the single steep step into the breezeway. Watched her struggle too many times to keep the screen door open and leverage up that one step with a bum hip. If she's carrying something it's an effort.

So, got a peck and a hot cup of coffee as a reward. Life is good.
